The role of the Spirit is to quicken or illuminate what teachers teach and students receive. ![]() God has given teachers to the Church in order to instruct believers and equip them for life and service. They ask, How can you follow the Holy Spirit if you are using a curriculum? The Holy Spirit’s Role in Teaching Some people misunderstand the role of the Holy Spirit in teaching and using curriculum in study preparation. This cycle presents all major Church doctrines, as well as important topics to help us live as Christians in our world. From Genesis to Revelation, the entire Bible is covered in a period of seven years. We can be sustained by practices that will tune our hearts to God's and form us into the radiant communities God intends for us and those around us.VOLUME Curriculum for Spirit-filled Living Radiant Life Adult Teacher Volume 3 September 2022–August 2023 Leach casts down idolatrous false images of God to recover a winsome picture of a kingdom of abundance and goodness. We need to name the toxic soil we've grown in, repent for past wrongs, and lean into a better way to become the church that Jesus proclaimed we would be. In an era where the church has lost much of its credibility, Leach casts a radiant vision for Christians to rediscover a robust, attractive witness. Instead, she is a pastor who loves the church and is paradoxically hopeful for its future. Tara Beth Leach could easily be one of those millennials giving up on the church. But our antagonism and enemy-making are toxins that further eat away at our witness. Too often, we point the finger away from the church, make culture the enemy, and build walls between us and others. Many Christians are alarmed by the decline in church attendance and seek a culprit. The witness of the church in North America is eroding. ![]()
